This conceptual master plan and design development guidelines for review and subsequent acceptance by the Minister of National Development in Singapore focussed on planning issues such as land-use, transport, building intensity, building height, pedestrian linkages, open space and waterways.
Working to a brief from the Real Estate Developers' Association of Singapore the firm was appointed as the overseas consultant to the Geylang East Development Guide Plan Team. The commission for this important and complex centre in the city area is particularly significant since it is the first instance of such a project in Singapore having been awarded solely to a private consultancy team.
