Gold Creek Senior School

The school, which makes extensive use of natural light throughout, accommodates approximately 800 students and 90 teaching and ancillary staff.
The complex incorporates a library resources centre, general study areas, facilities for the study of science and design technology, visual and performing arts, home economics and physical education, as well as administration and support facilities. The school gymnasium has been planned to provide for community use with an additional playing court and extended amenities allowing for out-of-school-hours access and use.
The performing arts centre includes a small lecture stage with stepped floor seating accommodating an audience of approximately 100. The stage opens through large sliding doors to a dance studio creating a proscenium-opening theatre. The project was completed for the commencement of the school year in 1998.
