Sieglinde Whittle, Partner
After graduating in Architecture at Fachhochschule Hannover in Germany in 1977, Sieglinde Whittle gained early experience on a wide-range of project types in Germany, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Australia before joining MGT Architects initially in 1984 to work on the design development documentation of the Parliament House project.
Upon completion of that project, she worked in private practice expanding her experience by providing documentation, liaison, and consultation services for clients on numerous residential and commercial projects prior to returning to MGT in 1997.
Since rejoining the firm, Sieglinde has undertaken lead roles on a range of major projects. She has over 20 years’ experience on projects of varied type and scale, from sensitive heritage projects such as the State Library of South Australia and the Australian War Memorial, to green-field sites. Sieglinde’s expertise in concept design, space planning and design development documentation; liaison and consultation with clients, consultants and authorities; and program management and cost control has been widely acknowledged.
